Hi everyone, We have something on a more serious note. Jeff Isaacs, owner of Grand Junctions Studios, recorded and produced all of our Highway Home CDs. He was a wonderful coach and gave us great encouragement during that process. On December 7th, 2006 our dear friend Jeff suffered a severe stroke. He is currently in rehabilitation at Covenant Medical Center in Waterloo Iowa. On April 1, 2007 Jeff's family and friends are holding a fund raiser to help defray some of the medical and rehabilitation costs . Click here for poster with more details. We, the members of Highway Home would like to ask all our friends to make a donation to Jeff's fund. Please consider a generous donation and make the checks payable to "South Waterloo Church of the Brethren C/O Jeff Isaacs". The address is: South Waterloo Church of the Brethren 6227 Kimball Avenue Waterloo. Iowa 50701 Also, please pass this information to your friends and family. Please hold up Jeff and his wife Sandy in your prayers. Let's have a wonderful response from our bluegrass community. Thank you from your friends, Highway Home
New York Recording Session Donated!!! New!This just in: Adam & Nikki Anders have donated a recording session in New York City to be auctioned at Jeff's fund raiser. “Jeff Isaacs and his wife, Sandy, gave me my start in the music business. When I was 14, I was recording a song with some friends in their mall studio, “Music, Music, Music,” when Jeff jumped out of the control room, came into the booth where we were singing, and asked who was singing that solo just then. It was me. He waited until my parents arrived, then told them he thought I had real potential and would like to help in any way he could. He recorded my very first demo. This led to a management deal and a record deal offer. Though I didn’t go through with that particular record deal, Jeff continued to help and open doors for me with performances, contacts, competitions, jingles, etc. His passion for music was infectious. And beyond that, he and Sandy’s support kept me motivated with their steadfast belief in me. If it weren’t for Jeff and Sandy, I don’t know that I’d be singing professionally today.” Nikki Hassman Anders Click Here for More Information
